One of the first days Ayla really started walking on her own was the day we were over at Justin and Sarah's new house, before their stuff was in. We were there painting and trying to get things ready. Since then, they've moved in and are pretty well settled. I don't know that you can ever be completely settled, but their house looks great. Sarah did a super job picking out fun colors. Justin wasn't sure at first, but I think he's sold now. :+] Notice the green walls in their living room. The kitchen and breakfast nook is painted a really pretty tangerine color, and their bedroom is a chocolate brown. Everything looks great!!! So, the day we were over there painting, my dad was watching both kids in the living room. Ayla began practicing her walking. I think it was easy for her because of the tile. I guess she felt much more stable. It was cute, too, because Jackson would hold her hand and help her up; however, as you might be able to see, she's giving him a "look" that says, "Okay, I got it!"
We've got some pretty cute video of it. Not long after this picture was taken, she began to take off more and more on her own. Because of the way my camera records video, I've not been able to upload the videos to the site. I've got to first have my dad convert them. I've got so many cute ones!
