Ayla Grace Napier came into our lives on August 9th at 4:54 AM weighing in at 7 lbs. 1.4 oz. and 19 inches long. She is a very healthy and beautiful baby girl. We are enjoying each and every moment, and we can't believe that she is already 7 weeks old. She has slept through the night twice already, so we hope that means she is adjusting to life with us. :=] She has started to intentionally smile at people, but she especially likes to smile at mom. She's holding her head up very well, and she loves to be held. She now knows the difference between being held and not, and she feels free to voice her irritation when she wants to be picked up. It's amazing how quickly she can stop crying when you go to pick her up. She is a very good eater and last week she weighed 10 lbs. 10 oz.
